Mayor Antiporda and his son, who had been in hiding for almost three months, finally resurfaced last week after Judge Cielito Mindaro-Grulla of Manila RTC Branch 29 dismissed for lack of evidence the double murder case against them and co-accused Romulo Awingan and Richard Mecate in connection with the killings of the Tamargos.

Earlier, Justice Secretary Raul Gonzales had ordered the Manila prosecutor’s office to withdraw the murder information against the AntipordasSocio-economic, production and marketing study, Buguey, Cagayan
