BUGUEY, Cagayan, Philippines – One person died while three others were wounded when they were shot by unidentified suspects wearing bonnets in Sitio Bato, Barangay Villa Cielo, Buguey town last Thursday.




Police identified the dead victim as Julie Rosal Alicuman, 32, a resident of Sitio Pakak, Barangay Villa Cielo.



Wounded were Elvis, Dan and Clarita Rosal, also residents of Sitio Pakak, police said.



Investigators said the victims went to the Sitio Bato to get rattan. While gathering rattan, unidentified suspects wearing bonnets shot them several times.



Julie died from bullet wounds to the body. The other wounded victims are now confined at the Toran District Hospital in Aparri town.



Police are presently conducting manhunt operations against the suspects whom they think its connected to where Jofel Alipio killed one these recent years where he got convicted for it...
