coastal highway water system

I have good news for my townmates along the national highway, soon the DPWH will be constructing our very first water system that will provide potable water to our households. I do hope it will receive the necessary funding from the DBM the soonest possible time as it involves several other municipalities from other provinces. The past administration of Buguey wanted the said project to start at Brgy. Maddalero, one of the populous barangays of Buguey going westward to Pattao and all the way to Dalaya. The so called Highway Barangays of Buguey are more in need of potable water compared to its coastal barangays which gives the reason for the past administration to request for the said water system. This early a local contractor from Buguey has already gone to the DPWH Central Office inquiring about the project, he could no longer wait for the project to be bidded out as if just because he went to verify it the said project will now be awarded to him. I don't care if this contractor will win the contract as long as it will be implemented properly. At least for our highway barangays the light at the end of the tunnel is already visible, the days when we need to fetch drinking water at sitio aragao of Buyun and the improvised filtering of water are already numbered. The Office of Cong. Enrile has promised to work for the early funding and implementation of the project.
