Excerpts from Acting Mayors’ letter to Honorable Reynaldo Villar, Chairman Commission on Audit dated 13 March 2009:
” I have assumed as Acting Mayor of this town on March 4, 2009 as a result of the 60 day preventive suspension imposed on Mayor Ignacio M. Taruc by the Honorable Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Cagayan, FOR GRAVE MISCONDUCT, GRAVE ABUSE OF AUTHORITY AND OPPRESSION.
Since assuming as Acting Mayor, I have unearthed several documents that tend to show that Mayor Taruc have probably abused his discretion in the administration of LGU funds to the prejudice of the municipality.
I'm sorry to say that cherishedtravel is not running no more have a possibility that it has been bought by them who spend they money on Taruc...
